So, it's one of the most excitingly terrifying times of the year - Halloween! And this year I chose to become Liv Moore, a zombie and the main character of iZombie, a show I've been enjoying lately.
I love zombie movies and shows, so my choice of this Halloween character is rather predictable. However, since there're tons of iZombie how-tos online, I'm not alone. The character became one of the favorites fast.
I really enjoyed this iZombie youtube tutorial, by the way, and even used some of their tips for my look here.
If you don't know who Olivia ("Liv") Moore is yet, may I introduce you to one of the most sophisticated and attractively dangerous brain eaters ever:
For makeup I used whatever I could find in my makeup bag. Usually I don't wear eye shadow, and it's only the second time I ever tried smokey eye in my life (sorry, if my sloppy job offends you).
Eyes: I used purple and some brown, to bring out my natural eye color, with lots of black eye liner and some highlighting. I also drew slight under eye circles for a tired look. My mascara is Maybelline The Falsies Pushup Drama.
Face: I very heavily applied IOPE cushion foundation in C21. I also should have applied a lot more of it on my neck which I could only clearly see after the pictures were taken!
Lips: I applied Maybelline's Color Sensational in 910 Bare All.
For hair I used a lot of talc powder since I ran out of my dry shampoo. Otherwise any dry shampoo will also add a slight graying dead hair effect.
Blood and brain: I was really pressed for time, but I highly recommend making gelatin brain because it's fun and looks very real. For blood, it's safer to use a very red lipstick mixed in with Visine (be careful not to stain your clothes because I did).
Clothes: Any style will work here since it depends on whose brain Live had to eat that day. I prefer her own casual style.
This look was ready in less than an hour, easy and fun!

Привет! Даже не знаю как так получилось, но я последнее время очень пристрастилась к Хэллоуину)).
На этот раз я решила перевоплотиться в героиню одного из моих любимых сериалов про зомби - яЗомби.
Эта девушка работает в полиции мед. экспертом и раскрывает преступления съев мозг жертвы. Её характерные черты - бледность кожи, темные круги под глазами и седые волосы.
Так вышло, что для макияжа я использовала косметику, которой не пользовалась и уже думала, что так никогда и не получиться ею воспользоваться. А сейчас я рада, что эти неудачные покупки меня выручили.
Тени, например, даже если я и покупаю, то наносить их грамотно не умею и они лежат не востребованными. В общем, макияж зомби дает право на ошибки, вот я и воспользовалась моментом для экспериментов с тенями.
В качестве тонального нанесла IOPE корейского производства, оттенок которой оказался слишком светлым для меня и пролежал без дела почти год. Тогда я, кстати, очень расстроилась неудачной покупке.
Помада - Мейбеллин 910 Bare All, слишком бледная для повседневного макияжа, но здесь пригодилась.
А на волосы нанесла кучу талька, чтобы они смотрелись светлее и более матовыми как у героини.
Мозг я купила картонный, а кровь - смесь из красной губной помады и каплей для глаз Визин.
