Things are difficult in a pandemic. Once in a while I'm certain that I've got this, and sometimes I'm just falling apart.
I've set up goals that help me go through this.
First, it's getting back in shape.
I haven't really worked out on a regular basis for almost 3 years! It's annoying when my favorite jeans won't fit right. So, I'm back with my beloved Fitness Blender workouts. For now, I have very limited time, and I can only stick to their quick videos (I add warm ups and cool downs on my own, or use theirs). I strive to stick to it every day.
My favorite FB quick cardio workouts are Little Black Dress workout; Quick Sweat Cardio Burst; HIIT the Deck Cardio, etc.
Second, I'm learning German. I started last fall by taking 2 semesters at the Goethe Institute of Chicago, and I'm practicing with my school partner every week. We do video chats.
Third, it's healthy cooking. I have veggies delivered to me, and this challenges me to cook as many different dishes as possible almost daily. Not only do I discover new recipes, I have also discovered a lot of yummy vegetables.
There's more, of course, but these are my main goals for the nearest future.
One last thing, I'm surprised that I still do some shopping (sweats and sweatshirts mostly, also some kicks), looks like it gives me some sense of normalcy.
P.S. And this blog, of course! I've ditched social media a long time ago, as it was too time consuming and draining. But keeping the blog alive is very important to me.
