This blog of mine is sort of like a challenge for myself. I have a tight budget and don't buy much stuff. Even if I did have a budget, I don't believe in consumerism and disposal-like attitude towards clothes. It could be my upbringing?
I almost always try to forgo very trendy things and trendy stores - I've never bought anything from Zara, I bought from Topshop once and didn't like the quality, and I have two items from ASOS... - that tells it all. I am guilty of shopping at H&M however. Mostly, I leave the store empty handed. I don't find the quality I like.
I want to wear lots of things for years, maybe decades. I enjoy it when something I buy lasts and serves me a lifetime. Every time I run out of room in my wardrobe, I swear not to buy stuff again. But...I do have this little weakness - I just love nice clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, and I adore perfume!
It's so hard to reconcile my believes with my passion, but I try. I wear lots of vintage, just like this fluffy angora sweater, and I try to mix and match, and wear the same things a lot, even if something was a "cheap thrill", like these H&M pajama pants.
What's your opinion on mainstream, do you prefer to shop at such stores? Maybe I am mistaken, and they make high quality things that last?
Мой блог для меня теперь становится чем-то на подобие вызова самой себе. У меня небольшой бюджет на новые вещи, и покупки я делаю очень редко и обдуманно.
Я почти всегда обхожу стороной самые популярные модные тенденции, особенно трендовые магазины из-за низкого качества основной массы их одежды. Я, например, ни разу не покупала в Зара, у меня только две вещи из АСОС и т.д. Хотя редко, но бываю в H&M. Чаще я ухожу из него с пустыми руками.
Я покупаю вещь с проекцией носки на долгие годы и даже следуя этому принципу мой шкаф забит. Я все обещаю себе прекратить все эти покупки, но уж очень люблю красивые вещи и аксессуары, и обожаю парфюм!
Чтобы утолить мою жажду к качественной, но более или менее доступной одежде, я покупаю винтаж. Например, эта кофта из ангоры - привет из восмидесятых)). Даже недорогие вещи, как эти брюки, я стараюсь носить несколько раз.
Вы часто покупаете марки из магазинов "мейнстрима"? Довольны ли качеством? Может, я ошибаюсь и качество их вещей уже выше...
