I actually have so much to write about this time! Let me start with several lines about the dress first.
I've been searching for a tuxedo style dress (also called blazer dress) for at least 4 years! I wanted a vintage but not too 80s power dress-y, with a nice fabric and an interesting color. This green dress was all of that; it's a vintage Lillie Rubin wool blend dress I scored on eBay just about a week ago.
So, why am I so obsessed with tuxedo dresses? They make you look pulled together for an office party, or make you look very sexy with the long revealing plunging neckline, perfect for a party at your friends'.
You can also wear tuxedo dresses with pants or longer skirts; I'm definitely going to wear this one as a blazer with dresses, skirts, etc. So, it's also very versatile.
These pictures were taken in Detroit's Fisher Theater building, one of the outstanding examples of local architecture, very impressive looking outside and inside, and the friendly staff let us take our time to shoot anywhere we wanted. У меня очень много эмоций накопилось по поводу этого платья. Платье-пиджак или, как его еще называют, платье-пальто было у меня в списке хотелок как минимум четыре года.
Есть множество причин купить себе такое платье, например, оно элегантное и простое, но с интересными аксессуарами подойдет для корпоративной вечеринки. Если под него ничего не надевать, то с глубоким декольте будет достаточно провокационно даже для клубной вечеринки.
А еще его можно носить как пиджак и весной я надену его с другим платьем или юбкой, или брюками...вариантов куча!
Я искала именно винтаж, потому что люблю дух таких вещей, и нашла его, как всегда, на ибее. Но можно найти очень много современных версий.
